NGA Human Resources (formerly NorthgateArinso) designs, implements and runs HR-as-a-service. This covers global and local payroll, workforce administration, time and attendance, talent administration and people analytics. It also runs partner-led HR system implementations and application management. Customers are large multinationals and public-sector bodies, such as the Belgian Defence and Police payroll and NBCUniversal, and the company says it supports about 450 clients in over 100 countries. It earns revenue from services and outsourcing contracts. Founded in 1969, it was acquired by Alight in August 2019 and now operates as an Alight company. It is an HR services firm rather than a pure AI company, although its HRX platform (launched 2017) adds chatbots and machine learning.
