Groww, run by Billionbrains Garage Ventures Ltd, is a direct-to-consumer investing platform for retail investors, many of them first-time investors in India. It began with direct mutual funds and added stock trading in 2020. It has since expanded into derivatives, bonds, IPOs, lending, payments, asset management and insurance broking. Revenue comes mainly from brokerage fees, with a large share from F&O trading, plus margin funding and mutual fund and other financial-product fees. It had over 14 million active users and 12.6 million active NSE clients as of June 2025. It reported FY2025 revenue of about ₹39 billion (~$440M) and net profit of about ₹18 billion. It raised about $750M in its IPO and listed on NSE/BSE in November 2025.
