The Canvas Global ("The Canvas") runs multibrand fashion and design stores in New York City, including at the Westfield World Trade Center Oculus and the Seaport. It carries 100+ brands from 40+ countries. It places emerging and established designers aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals into underused retail space. Landlords are partners, and revenue-share deals often replace fixed rent. It also offers brands a central software system for inventory and collaboration. It expanded to Miami in 2023. Funding is small: roughly $0.7M in 2023, an equity crowdfunding round in Oct 2025, and about $1.06M raised in total per PitchBook. Revenue is not public. Sources disagree on the founding year (2018 vs 2019).
