Brooklyn FI
Brooklyn Fi is an independent, fee-only wealth management firm. It combines financial planning, tax preparation and strategy, and investment management, with particular expertise in equity compensation such as RSUs, ISOs and tender offers. It is not an AI product company. It uses AI internally to support its advisors. Its clients are mainly high-income tech employees, founders and creatives across the US, served remotely. Revenue comes from client fees, not product commissions. Co-founders AJ Ayers and Shane Mason started the firm in 2017 and launched the advisory practice in 2018. Accelerated Wealth Partners took an undisclosed minority stake in 2026. The firm made the Inc. 5000 list in 2025 (No. 3,855, 97% three-year growth).
