Founded in August 2025 by Uku Joost Annus, Kevin Akkermann, and Karl Kiilaspää, bilt.me began as a hackathon project in Tallinn. The company provides an AI-native platform that allows users to describe an app idea in plain language, which the company's AI agent then builds as a native mobile application. The service includes additional infrastructure layers for payments, cloud storage, and app sharing, while allowing users to export React Native code.
