Babbel
Babbel (operated by Lesson Nine GmbH) is a Berlin-based language-learning app and e-learning platform. It offers lessons in 14–15 languages built around real-life conversations, plus live classes and corporate offerings. It sells subscriptions mainly to consumers. Wikipedia reports revenue of about €330 million in 2023, up from about €250 million in 2022. The company was founded in 2007 and has offices in Berlin and New York.
