Top Aces
Top Aces provides contracted live-fly adversary air (ADAIR) and JTAC/close air support training using its own fighter jets to the Canadian, US, German and other allied air forces.
Top Aces owns and operates a large commercial fleet of fighter and trainer aircraft, including F-16s, A-4 Skyhawks and Alpha Jets. It flies these as 'red air' adversaries and provides JTAC/close air support training for NATO and allied armed forces. Customers include the Canadian Armed Forces (long-term contract since 2005), the German Bundeswehr and the US Air Force. It earns revenue from multi-year government service contracts. It was founded in 2000 by former RCAF CF-18 pilots and has logged over 140,000 accident-free flight hours. It acquired Blue Air Training in 2022. It has about 566 employees (Dec 2025) and bases in Canada, the US and Germany.
