Tide sells business accounts, which are provided through partner ClearBank, along with invoicing, accounting integrations, payroll, loans and insurance. Its customers are small and medium-sized businesses in the UK, India, Germany and France. It had over 1.6 million members globally by 2025. It earns money mainly from subscriptions and fees. Revenue rose 55% to about £177M in 2024. A secondary round in September 2025, led by TPG, valued it at about $1.5B, making it a unicorn. It has raised roughly $450M in total and employed about 3,400 people in 2026.
