Symphony Communication Services
AI-powered secure messaging, voice, directory and analytics platform for global financial institutions, with built-in compliance and data security.
Symphony sells a modular communications platform (Messaging, Voice including Cloud9 trader voice, Directory, Analytics, and an AI Agent Studio) to banks, asset managers and other financial firms, mainly through enterprise SaaS subscriptions. It was founded in October 2014 when 15 financial institutions led by Goldman Sachs invested $66M and it acquired Perzo. The company says it serves more than 1,000 institutions. Reported total funding is about $461–511M, with a Series E in 2019–2020 at a roughly $1.4B valuation. Third-party revenue estimates are unreliable: Latka puts 2024 ARR near $198M, while other sources give wider ranges. Ben Chrnelich became CEO in January 2026, succeeding Brad Levy.
