Somatus

Somatus provides integrated kidney care, combining local clinical teams with RenalIQ, a proprietary machine-learning platform that identifies patients at risk of kidney failure. It contracts with health plans, health systems, and nephrology and primary care groups under value-based arrangements. It raised a Series E of more than $325M in February 2022 at a valuation reported as unicorn-level (about $3.6B), and bought AI assets from Lumiata in 2022. In July 2025 it reported more than 500,000 patients under management across all 50 states and DC, with 100+ nephrology practices as partners.
