Runway builds generative AI video models and creative tools, plus world models, for filmmakers, studios, advertisers and creators.
Runway develops generative video and image models (Gen-4.5, Aleph, Act-Two) and a web and API platform for AI video creation and editing. It also builds world models and runs Runway Studios, an AI film and animation production arm. Customers include creators, major studios, and enterprises. It has deals with Lionsgate and AMC Networks and a partnership with Adobe. It sells subscriptions, enterprise contracts and API access. In February 2026 it raised a $315M Series E at a $5.3B valuation, led by General Atlantic, bringing total funding to about $860M. It said it added $40M in ARR in Q2 2026, and outside estimates put 2025 revenue near $300M.
