Netwrix sells data and identity security software, including the 1Secure platform, that helps IT and security teams in hybrid and cloud environments protect sensitive data.
Netwrix, founded in 2006, makes data and identity security software covering data security posture management, identity threat detection and response, privileged access, directory management and endpoint protection. Its products include the 1Secure platform, Netwrix Auditor and PingCastle, and in 2026 it added AI-governance capabilities and AI-agent visibility for Microsoft Entra ID. It sells commercial software to IT, security and compliance teams, and says it serves more than 11,500 organizations (an older company figure). It is private equity-owned, with Centerbridge Partners and Updata Partners as earlier investors and TA Associates as the acquirer. It has made about 7–9 acquisitions, the latest being PingCastle in 2024. Revenue estimates run from about $225M to $246M, but these are third-party figures.
