About Luma AI

Luma AI develops multimodal foundation models, including the Ray video models and the Dream Machine text-to-video platform. They are sold through an API and a content creation suite aimed at marketing, media and entertainment customers. In November 2025 it closed a $900M Series C led by HUMAIN (Saudi PIF-owned) at a valuation of about $4B. Investors also include AWS, AMD Ventures, a16z and Amplify, and total funding is about $1.06B. It is expanding with new offices in London and Riyadh.
