It works with developers, landowners, communities, universities and local authorities on masterplans, new settlements, public realm, and infrastructure and energy projects. Its work includes the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park masterplan and public realm at Battersea Power Station. It earns fees for consultancy services and is employee-owned. It was founded in 1979 and has about 200 staff across offices including London, Bristol, Cambridge, Exeter, Glasgow, Manchester, Oxford and Peterborough.
