Hebbia
Hebbia sells Matrix, an AI agent platform that automates document-heavy research and analysis for investment banks, asset managers, law firms and large enterprises.
Hebbia's Matrix platform reads large volumes of unstructured documents such as filings, contracts and transcripts. It runs multi-step AI agent workflows on them and returns citation-backed answers in a spreadsheet-style interface. Customers are mainly financial institutions, including asset managers, private equity firms and investment banks, plus law firms and other large enterprises. It sells to businesses on a subscription basis. Founded in 2020 by George Sivulka, it raised a $130M Series B led by Andreessen Horowitz in 2024, reportedly at about a $700M valuation, and has raised about $161M in total. It acquired FlashDocs in 2025, and its headcount was roughly 197 in mid-2026.
