Gusto offers an all-in-one platform for payroll, benefits administration, HR, onboarding, time tracking, and contractor payments. It also sells financial products such as Gusto Money and 401(k) plans. Its customers are small and mid-sized US businesses, and it reports more than 400,000 direct customers. It earns subscription revenue, charged per employee per month, plus fees for add-ons. It has raised about $746M in primary funding, was valued at $9.3B in a June 2025 employee tender offer, and reportedly passed $1B in annual recurring revenue in May 2026.
