Workplaces use it to order food for meetings, events and recurring employee meals from restaurant partners, and it also offers restaurants tools to win more orders. Its revenue model is based on fees from the marketplace and its services; I couldn't verify revenue. It was founded in 2007 and has raised roughly $420M in total, with its latest round a $100M Series D in December 2021. Investors include SoftBank, GIC, Insight Partners and Lightspeed, and Tracxn lists it as a unicorn since 2019. Note that its HQ is in Boston, Massachusetts, not Georgia, and it is a catering-technology company rather than an AI company.
