Confio Software
Boulder, Colorado maker of Ignite database performance monitoring software for DBAs, developers and IT managers. Acquired by SolarWinds in 2013; not an AI company.
Confio Software, founded by Matt Larson in 2004 and based in Boulder, CO, sold Ignite, database performance monitoring and tuning software for SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 and Sybase. Customers were DBAs, developers and IT managers, and the company said its products were used in 40% of the Fortune 50. SolarWinds acquired the privately held company in October 2013 for $103 million in cash. Confio was named to the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 in 2012 and 2013. The confio.com domain is tied to this legacy software business, which no longer operates independently. Crunchbase lists it as closed and acquired.
