Carsome runs an online used-car marketplace and related services, including inspection, financing and ownership transfer, for consumers and used-car dealers in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and the Philippines. It earns money from vehicle sales and transaction fees, and from financing and other services. It became Malaysia's first tech unicorn in 2021, when it raised US$170M. A Series E in January 2022 valued it at about US$1.7B, and it raised more than US$30M from HKIC, Gobi Partners and Asia Partners in March 2026. It reported 2021 revenue of about US$656M and FY2025 record results, its second consecutive profitable year. Revelio Labs counted about 2,045 employees in March 2026.
