About Basefarm
Basefarm, founded in Oslo in 2000, sold managed hosting, hybrid and private cloud, colocation from its Oslo data center campus, security, and big data and application management services to enterprises. It earned revenue from service contracts, managed services and consulting fees, with operations in Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany and Austria. Orange Business Services acquired it for €350 million in July 2018. At that point it had about 550 employees and revenue above €100 million (2017). The brand has since been folded into Orange Business. It is not an AI company.
