Rick Cancelliere is the Founder and CEO of PracticeBeat, a Pittsburgh company that gives independent medical practices a patient access and engagement platform with tools for appointment scheduling, billing integration and performance analytics. Rick started a healthcare design firm in 2002, then launched Nerve Medical, a technology agency for medical startups, in 2009. In 2012 he became CEO of Treatspace, a clinical software platform for patient and referral networks that spun out of Nerve Medical with co-founders from Carnegie Mellon.
