Nicholas Muchinguri

Nicholas Muchinguri is an AI engineer focused on natural language processing for finance. On Hugging Face he has published 37 models and 14 Spaces, led by a FinBERT model fine-tuned for finance topic classification with more than 86,000 downloads, plus fine-tuned DeBERTa, DistilRoBERTa and SEC-BERT financial text classifiers, a BART summarizer for financial news, and an earnings-call analysis app built on Whisper. His Spaces also cover semantic search with retrieve-and-rerank, article summarization, and GPT-powered search over financial tweets and investor education content. He also builds computer vision models, including YOLOS and DETR license plate detection, chest X-ray pneumonia classification and plant disease detection.
