Michael Young is the founder and CEO of Photon Commerce in San Francisco, whose AI reads invoices and bank statements, categorizes the transactions and automates reconciliation and payments for fintech companies and banks, with clients including FIS, Brex, Settle and Teampay. He advises the Nacha ACH Network board and has been a FedNow showcase provider with the Federal Reserve. Before Photon he co-founded Smart Focus, IonArmour and Innova Dynamics, which was acquired, and led Department of Defense-funded R&D programs after leaving a Stanford PhD program.
