I've spent 20+ years building web applications - the last 17 running Kodo Labs, where we've shipped 100+ projects for 50+ clients on Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, React and AWS.I work as a software architect and hands-on developer. My sweet spot is taking an ambiguous business problem and turning it into a system that's simple to operate and cheap to maintain: defining the domain model, setting engineering standards, and staying close to the code.Lately, much of my work centers on AI-augmented development.
