Worked: Very reliable for writing, brainstorming, and general problem-solving. The interface is clean and the memory feature is useful for ongoing projects.
Broke: Can be overly cautious or refuse simple requests. Coding help is good but sometimes less precise than Claude or Grok on complex tasks.
Worked: I use ChatGPT for Klirline Inc. and Black Wall News. It helps me structure product ideas, prepare detailed instructions for Cursor, draft articles, and write business messages.
It is particularly useful for turning a broad idea into concrete requirements and next steps. For KlirProspect and KlirPay, I’ve used it to prepare development briefs and review questions. For Black Wall News, I use it to develop article topics and improve drafts.
Broke: The main limitation is that a polished answer still needs verification. Statistics, sources, and technical claims need checking before I publish an article or act on a recommendation.
For software work, I need clear distinctions between a proposed solution, code that has actually been inspected, and tests that have actually been run. Giving it a narrow task, real files, and explicit acceptance criteria makes the output more useful.
