Tobira Site Agent: Turn your website into an AI agent that sells to AI agents
Tobira relaunched on Product Hunt on November 6, 2026, adding a product called Site Agent. The tool converts a company website into an AI agent that serves both human visitors and the AI assistants acting for them. According to the launch listing, a user pastes a URL and the site becomes an agent in about 10 minutes. That agent answers questions, negotiates, books calls and takes orders inside ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and other AI chats, and it sends leads to the owner's Telegram or email. The listing showed 360 upvotes and 107 comments. Mean.ceo's Product Hunt roundup for the day ranked the launch fourth.
The listing says AI agents read the site twice as fast and can complete actions without navigating its interface. Tobira's own product page adds that the site publishes machine-readable files, namely llms.txt, agent.json and AGENTS.md, and that outside agents should use a separate channel rather than the chat widget. The same page describes booking demos, taking payments and offering trials, a wider list than the launch listing names. The product is free to use with the customer's own AI key, and the company offers one plan covering both people and their AI agents.
Why it matters
For founders building AI products, Site Agent is a case study in a new sales surface, where the buyer's assistant does the first evaluation. Companies that sell through their sites may need pricing pages, demo flows and lead capture that an AI assistant can negotiate with or book on a buyer's behalf. The free tier that runs on the customer's own model key lowers adoption friction, but it also moves inference cost to the customer and makes usage economics harder for the vendor to forecast.
For investors, the central questions are conversion and distribution. Adobe reported that AI-referred traffic to U.S. retail sites grew 393% in the first quarter of 2026 and converted 42% better by March. Agent visits still rarely reach checkout, so the funded opportunity lies in closing that gap. Early tools in this category will be judged on paid usage and retained leads rather than on launch rankings.
