Google agrees to buy Wiz for $32B, the biggest acquisition in its history

Alphabet announced on March 18, 2025 that it would acquire cloud-security company Wiz for $32B in cash, the largest deal Google has ever done, to fold into Google Cloud as AI workloads move the security perimeter into the cloud. Wiz had walked away from a $23B offer eight months earlier.
