accesso acquires Dexibit for $7.1M
The purchase becomes a new product, accesso Intelligence, announced on March 30, 2026. It pulls data from ticketing, eCommerce, food and retail, operations, weather and visitor reviews into one layer. Staff can query it in plain language. Outputs are meant to feed back into accesso's ticketing, virtual queuing and retail systems. Dexibit brings integrations with more than 100 third-party systems, machine learning forecasting and years of aggregated benchmark data. Its customers include museums and aquariums. Dexibit CEO Angie Judge is quoted in the announcement on the combined company.
accesso sells to more than 1,100 venues and trades on London's AIM, with a market cap near $104 million, so the $7.1M price is a small but not trivial bet for it. The company says it will keep adding AI inside individual products, and positions the Dexibit layer as sitting above them. The announcement also pitches the product to ski and mountain resorts.
For AI founders, the deal shows a vertical incumbent buying a data and model layer instead of building one. Cross-vendor integrations and industry benchmarks were the assets that sold here, and the price suggests buyers in niche sectors pay modestly for them.
