Whatnot is a livestream shopping and auction marketplace. Sellers broadcast live and buyers bid on or purchase items such as trading cards, sneakers, toys, fashion and electronics. It earns revenue from seller fees on transactions. It raised a $545M Series G at a $20B valuation in August 2026, up from $11.5B in October 2025. Whatnot reported more than $8B in GMV in 2025 and roughly $1B in revenue. It operates in the US, UK and Europe. It is a marketplace company rather than an AI company, though it plans to add AI-assisted seller tools.
