The-Climate Corporation
The Climate Corporation, a Bayer subsidiary, sells the Climate FieldView platform to farmers and agricultural partners. The platform combines field data collection, agronomic modeling, weather monitoring and prescriptions in mobile and web software. It also offers hardware such as FieldView Drive. The company was founded in 2006 and raised about $109M before Monsanto acquired it in 2013 for roughly $1B. Bayer took it over when it acquired Monsanto in 2018. FieldView is sold across North America, South America, Europe and South Africa, where it launched in 2021.
