Syarah
Syarah is a Riyadh-based online car retailer and marketplace, founded in 2015 by Salah Sharef and Fayez Al-Anazi. It began as a classifieds site and now sources, inspects, refurbishes, finances, warrants and delivers cars to buyers' doors. Used cars come with a 200-point inspection, a one-year warranty and a 10-day trial. It earns money from car sales, financing and add-on services. It raised a $60M Series C led by Artal Capital in 2024, bringing total funding to about $82M, and has sold over 20,000 cars.
