Promasidor is a food and beverage company, not an AI company. It makes and markets powdered milk (Cowbell, Loya), culinary seasonings (Onga), cereals and beverages (Top Tea) for consumers in about 36 African countries, with large operations in Nigeria, the DRC, Ghana, Algeria and Angola. It was founded in 1979 by Robert Rose and is privately held. Ajinomoto is an investor. Tracxn lists about $532M raised and a $1.6B valuation as of a November 2016 round, and about 4,022 employees as of August 2026.
