PGi, founded in 1991 as Premiere Technologies by Boland Jones, provides SaaS collaboration products. These include audio, web and video conferencing, webinars and webcasting/event streaming (GlobalMeet). It sells to large global companies, mid-sized companies and SMBs, mainly on a subscription and usage basis. It was a public company (NYSE: PGI) and reported about $567M in revenue in 2014. Siris Capital Group acquired it in 2015. It is now privately held, and it is not primarily an AI company.
