Okmetic
Okmetic is a silicon wafer manufacturer, not an AI company. It supplies customized silicon and SOI wafers, including SSP, DSP, patterned and TSV wafers. Its customers are semiconductor makers building MEMS, sensor, RF and power devices. It was founded in 1985 as a Nokia–Outokumpu joint venture, listed on Nasdaq Helsinki, and was acquired by China's NSIG in 2016. Net sales were about €88M in 2025 (about €128M in 2021). It had 687 employees at the end of 2025, and in 2022 it announced a roughly €400M new fab in Vantaa.
