Mainstar Software Corporation
Mainstar Software Corporation was founded in 1978 in Bellevue, Washington, and sold z/OS mainframe storage and recovery products. These included catalog management, data cloning, disaster and local recovery, and HSM tools, plus professional services. It sold to enterprise mainframe customers worldwide and was an IBM business partner from 1996. Rocket Software agreed to acquire it in 2006 (PitchBook dates the deal to 31 July 2006). The company does not appear to be an AI company.
