GoCardless
GoCardless provides a payments platform and API for collecting one-off and recurring payments directly from customers' bank accounts. It integrates with accounting and billing software such as Xero, Sage and Zuora. Its customers range from SMBs to large enterprises, and it earns transaction-based fees. It was founded in 2011 and raised about $529M–$634M (estimates vary by source), including a $312M Series G in 2022 at a $2.1B valuation. As of 2025 it served about 100,000 businesses and processed about $130B a year. Mollie agreed to acquire it in Dec 2025, reportedly at a ~€1.1B valuation.
