Erco Energía
Erco Energía builds and operates distributed energy resources: solar PV, EV charging infrastructure and battery storage. It also sells energy through a digital energy marketer and uses its own software to manage projects. It is headquartered in Medellín, Colombia, and also operates in Panama, Brazil and the US, where its Texas arm is based in San Antonio. It is a certified B Corp. It closed a $129M Series C in August 2026 with Norfund, Augment Infrastructure, Next Utility Ventures and Endeavor Catalyst. Earlier, it raised $6M in 2021 to launch in Texas and Panama. PitchBook lists 419 employees in 2024. It is not an AI company, and its Texas operation is a regional arm, not the HQ.
