D-Orbit
D-Orbit builds and operates the ION Satellite Carrier, an orbital transfer vehicle that delivers satellites to their target orbits and hosts third-party payloads. It is also expanding into in-orbit servicing (ESA's RISE mission), space-based edge computing and satellite buses. Customers are commercial satellite operators, space agencies and defense/government users. It earns revenue from transportation missions, hosted payloads, software and engineering services. It raised a €100M (~$110M) Series C in 2024 and a Series D announced in January 2026 led by Azimut. Headcount is about 428 (2026) and revenue is estimated at roughly $38–45M.
