About Stability AI

Stability AI, maker of the Stable Diffusion family, builds open generative models for image, video, audio and 3D. It sells them through its API, platform and licences, and through enterprise partnerships with entertainment and gaming companies such as Electronic Arts and the major music labels. In August 2026 it raised a $76M Series B from Universal, Warner and Sony Music, EA, AMD Ventures and Pacific Alliance Ventures, bringing total funding to about $232M under CEO Prem Akkaraju. It was last valued at about $1B in 2024, and a third-party estimate puts 2023 revenue near $104M.
