About Grover

Grover runs a circular-economy rental platform with 3,000+ tech products on flexible monthly subscriptions. Customers can keep, buy or return a device, and returned devices are refurbished and re-rented. It sells to consumers and businesses, mainly through its own site and retail partners' checkouts such as MediaMarktSaturn. Revenue comes from monthly rental fees. Founded in 2015 by Michael Cassau, it reached unicorn status with a $330M Series C in 2022 ($110M equity, $220M debt), raised a further ~€50M in 2024, and has used large debt facilities, including a ~€270M facility from M&G.
