ClearScore gives consumers free credit scores and reports, Open Banking-based affordability and spending insights, and a marketplace for credit cards, loans and car finance. It earns commission from lenders and financial providers when users are matched with products. Founded in 2015, it has over 20 million users across the UK, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. It raised about $200M from Invus in 2021 at a reported $700M valuation and took £30M of HSBC Innovation Banking debt in 2025. Its UK entity reported about £90M revenue for 2024, and it has about 480 employees (2026).
