BenchSci's flagship product is EMET, an agentic research environment for preclinical R&D. It reasons over a knowledge graph built from 38M+ publications. Earlier products included the ASCEND platform and antibody and reagent search. It sells enterprise software subscriptions to large pharma and biotech firms, including multi-year deals with Merck and argenx (2026) and a Google Cloud infrastructure partnership (Aug 2026). Founded in 2015, it raised a US$70M (C$95M) Series D in 2023 led by Generation Investment Management, bringing total funding to about C$218M (US$170M).
