About Base

Base, originally Future Simple and PipeJump, built a web and mobile sales platform. It covered email, phone dialing, pipeline management, forecasting and reporting. It was a venture-backed SaaS business that reached Series C with investors including Index Ventures and RRE Ventures. Crunchbase says it served more than 7,000 companies such as Cisco, Dow Chemical and Groupon. Wikipedia lists about 150 employees in 2017, with R&D in Kraków, Poland. Zendesk announced the acquisition of Base's parent, FutureSimple Inc., on September 10, 2018.
