What it does

Builds valid Obsidian notes with vault-native syntax: wikilinks for internal cross-references, embeds for content inclusion, callouts for highlighted blocks, and YAML properties for metadata. Reach for this when working in Obsidian vaults or when users need structured markdown with automatic link tracking and rich note interconnection. Handles the Obsidian-specific extensions beyond standard Markdown.

  • Write wikilinks ([[Note]]) for internal vault connections with automatic rename tracking
  • Embed content from other notes, images, and PDFs using ![[embed]] syntax
  • Create callouts (> [!type]) for warnings, tips, highlights and other visual callout blocks
  • Add YAML frontmatter with properties (title, tags, aliases, custom metadata)
