AgentKit by Scalekit: MCP gateway for production agents that acts on your behalf
Scalekit has launched AgentKit on Product Hunt, positioning it as one MCP gateway through which AI agents can reach more than 30,000 tools across over 600 applications, including Salesforce, Gmail, Slack, Notion, HubSpot, Jira and GitHub. The product targets teams whose agents act for their own customers. The Product Hunt listing showed 404 upvotes and 94 comments when this brief was prepared, and an earlier Buzzing snapshot had logged 166 upvotes. The launch is dated November 3, 2026.
The design centers on identity. Scalekit runs each user's delegated OAuth flow, keeps tokens in a vault, and executes tool calls as the person who authorized them rather than through a shared service account. Teams can define Virtual MCP Servers, one endpoint per agent role that exposes only the tools that role needs. Internal APIs can be added as custom connectors using OAuth 2.0, API keys, RSA or Basic auth. Triggers can start an agent when an event occurs, such as an incoming email, and every call is written to a log that records the user who triggered it.
The free plan includes 10,000 tool calls and 10,000 trigger events a month. Growth costs $99 per month for 100,000 tool calls and 50,000 trigger events, with overages of $0.50 per 1,000 tool calls and $3 per 1,000 trigger events. Enterprise pricing is custom.
Why it matters
For founders, the practical shift is that per-user authorization moves from a feature each team builds to a service they can buy. Enterprise buyers ask which user an agent acted for and what it could reach. A gateway that answers both with scoped access and per-user logs may shorten security reviews, although the answer still depends on how a team's own apps are configured. Metered pricing means cost follows agent activity rather than seat count.
For operators and investors, the launch shows where agent infrastructure spending may concentrate: the layer between models and business software, where identity, audit trails and connector maintenance are costly to build. Products that own a narrow workflow may find that integrations, not agent logic, are the harder part to match. Investors will likely ask whether a gateway can keep pace with changes to dozens of third-party APIs.
Key points
- 1Launched on Product Hunt on November 3, 2026, with a stated 30,000+ tools across 600+ apps.
- 2Each tool call runs as the user who authorized it, using that user's delegated OAuth grant and vaulted tokens.
- 3Virtual MCP Servers expose a fixed tool subset per agent role, so each agent sees only what it needs.
- 4Free plan: 10,000 tool calls and 10,000 trigger events a month; Growth costs $99 monthly.
