hlpy raises $23M in a venture round
The round was announced on September 23, 2026, so the July 30 date in Crunchbase's record looks earlier than the public announcement. The financing combines equity and debt, and the company has not disclosed the split. BNP Paribas BNL Equity Investments, a BNP Paribas Group unit that takes minority stakes in small and mid-sized Italian companies, has joined the shareholder base. The money is earmarked for growth and further acquisitions. It was paired with the purchase of 100% of Carvoilà, a vehicle transport and logistics firm. Terms were not disclosed. Carvoilà's founders, Francesca Vidali and Michela Conti, stay on. Dealroom puts total funding since the 2020 founding at €45M, and says the target is more than €100M in recurring revenue by 2027. The previous round was €18M in September 2024, led by Nextalia, and was about 80% equity and 20% bank debt. For AI founders, the case is a services-roll-up model. A digital, AI-driven platform is used to coordinate fragmented physical operations, with mixed equity and debt funding the acquisitions. Investors will likely judge it on whether software and data margins hold once logistics and repair work is brought in-house, and on the undisclosed equity-to-debt split.
