Finpilot raises $10M Series A led by Lobby Capital for institutional AI
Lobby Capital led the $10M Series A, with Madrona participating. Co-founder and chief executive Lakshay Chauhan announced the round on November 4. The company is building an AI-native operating system for institutional investors, which it presents as a way to run investment work from one platform.
Finpilot joins a growing group of vertical AI companies selling into finance, where buyers want software that drafts analysis and workflow steps while licensed staff keep final decisions. Competitors in that field compete on workflow depth and approval controls rather than on the model alone.
For founders building in regulated markets, the round is a reminder that a narrow buyer, such as institutional investment teams, can support a Series A when the product replaces a full workflow. Builders should define the workflow and the approval steps before they define the model.
