Finloop raises $10M Series A
The September 15 announcement describes a Series A+ of more than $10 million that closed earlier in 2026. It follows a roughly $10 million Series A in July 2025 that included the Solana Foundation. HSBC and People's Capital are named as strategic investors. HSBC's stake was marked at an event at its Hong Kong headquarters on September 3, attended by nearly 100 partners and corporate clients. Valuation has not been disclosed. Alongside the round, Finloop launched Finterprise, a service for Hong Kong-registered small and medium businesses. It combines cash management, corporate portfolio allocation and corporate bank account management. The company says it will put the money into AI development and real-world asset tokenization. It reports access to more than 8,000 traditional wealth products, more than 150 institutional clients, and over HKD 50 billion in 2025 transaction volume. For AI founders, the deal shows a large bank backing an AI-led wealth platform in a regulated niche. The pattern is a vertical product sold to financial institutions and then extended downmarket to SMEs. Distribution through an institutional investor can matter as much as the capital. Founders selling into banks should note that strategic backers can open channels but may also shape product direction.
