Ascerta raises $18M Series A
Hitachi Ventures, BGV, Wipro Ventures and existing investors joined Dell Technologies Capital in the round. Valuation was not disclosed. Total funding reaches $22.9 million, which includes a $4.9 million seed from May 2025. The money goes toward scaling the platform, building out go-to-market, and extending integrations to every major enterprise AI tool. Headcount is planned to grow from 15 to roughly 40 by the end of 2027. Microsoft veterans David Tepper, Doron Holan and Erik Winters founded the company in 2024. It offers three products: Atlas for ROI measurement, Forge for coding agent adoption, and Convoy for capacity optimization. The platform connects to Microsoft Copilot, Anthropic Claude, AWS Bedrock and Salesforce Agentforce. Customer gains are company-reported, and the baselines, sample size and measurement period behind them have not been disclosed. For AI founders, the pitch shows where buyer scrutiny is heading. Companies can already count tokens, licenses and agent runs, but those counts do not show whether an initiative saves time or adds revenue. Startups selling agents or copilots into large accounts should expect finance teams to ask for cost and outcome data by team and by task. Vendors that cannot supply it may lose renewals to ones that can.
