Corridor raises $25M Seed
Bain Capital Ventures led the round. BoxGroup and Definition Capital also took part, along with angels from OpenAI, Modal, Ramp, Scale AI, Oscar, Rogo, Decagon, Medallion, Reducto and Tennr. Valuation was not disclosed. The founders are ex-Scale AI product lead Jackson Wagner, Nikhil Aggarwal, Eric Qian and Jason Dong. The company is based in New York. The product pairs licensed advisors with software agents. Customers deal with human advisors, while agents handle background chores such as checking whether a doctor is in network, scheduling care and passing updated insurance details to providers. The company plans to put the capital toward scaling that administrative platform and supporting employers through the coming benefits selection and enrollment cycle. Corridor's pitch rests on broker economics. Small accounts pay lower commissions but take as much time as large ones, so traditional brokerages tend to overlook them. Ignition Benefits and Nava Benefits operate in the same space. For AI founders, this is a services-with-software model: agents cut the cost of serving low-revenue customers, while humans keep the regulated, trust-heavy part of the work. The same approach could apply to other markets that incumbents have priced out. Brokerage also carries state regulations, carrier relationships and compliance requirements that have tripped up well-funded startups before. Execution there matters as much as the AI.
